The Flower Cups Rain Chain is a classic! The flower design is beautifully understated and coordinates with a wide variety of home styles. The medium size cups are suitable for most homes and they can handle a variety of rainfall conditions.
This design is available in pure unfinished copper, unfinished aluminum, and aluminum powder-coated with a matte Black or beautiful Bronze finish. The new Patina option, is made of hand finished aluminum cups. The cups are powder-coated a satin black color, then the patina finish is applied by hand.
To prevent damage in transit and reduce packaging volume, the upper wires are shipped separately from the cups, so some assembly is required. Each rain chain comes with a matching v-hook. The v-hook sits inside the gutter opening to hold the rain chain in place.
We had rain chains on the front of our home & I love to see the rain run through and I also enjoy when it ices up but… I live more on the back of my home so I asked my husband for rain chains by the new flower beds he built.
We already had rain & it is a lovely sight. Highly recommend.

Rain chain was recommended by gutter contractor. Never heard of it but decided to go ahead with idea. Works very well and adds something fun to watch when it rains. The grandkids love it.

Very happy with the flower cup chains I bought in aluminum with bronze coating. Perfect match with my new brown rain gutters. Selected aluminum versus copper so I would not have to worry about electrolysis and corrosion risk of allowing two different metals to be in contact. Very affordable and simple to install. Rain is very quiet coming down the chains (no waterfall or splashing noises). They even performed well in a very heavy, 2-inch an hour rain event. I have rain barrels underneath them and the chains do a nice job of directing the water into the screen covered openings. Highly recommend!

I love these rain chains. They are absolutely beautiful and are the perfect compliment to the half-round gutters I installed on my 1920's craftsman. The eaves on the house are large, so I did not want big downspout elbows on the front of the house to disrupt the esthetic, and these chains were the perfect solution. They bring so much peace when the rain is flowing through them. I purchased one rain barrel and 2 copper basins for the 3 chains and they all work very well. I love capturing rain water for my plants. The chains do need to be secured at the bottom. We've had tornadoes and other severe weather since my installation, and they held up through the storms, although the basins did pick up with the wind. They did not blow back onto the house and withstood the wind and rain just fine. I would advise anyone to double check the little screw caps on either side of each cup. I lost 3 because they were loose and I didn't know it. But I had a couple of extra cups and was able to replace them and check any others that were loose. Highly recommend.

You may want to try dabbing some Loctite on the threads to prevent the end nuts from working their way off.
