The Flower Cups Rain Chain is a classic! The flower design is beautifully understated and coordinates with a wide variety of home styles. The medium size cups are suitable for most homes and they can handle a variety of rainfall conditions.
This design is available in pure unfinished copper, unfinished aluminum, and aluminum powder-coated with a matte Black or beautiful Bronze finish. The new Patina option, is made of hand finished aluminum cups. The cups are powder-coated a satin black color, then the patina finish is applied by hand.
To prevent damage in transit and reduce packaging volume, the upper wires are shipped separately from the cups, so some assembly is required. Each rain chain comes with a matching v-hook. The v-hook sits inside the gutter opening to hold the rain chain in place.
We just completed a MAJOR backyard makeover. The "clubhouse" I built for our son years ago is now the "cottage". It never had gutters, so we finally broke down and had some half round gutters installed. After shopping for rain chains we finally landed on the Flower Cups, based on their flow rate and color. I'm very handy, so installation wasn't too difficult. I had to drill the holes in the gutter spouts and slightly modify the hanger. I also opted to do a custom catch basin, so there was some modification to the last hanger on the rain chain. They came out great! Now we just need some rain!
