More Product Information:

Composting is a great way to recycle all those leftovers, kitchen scraps, and organic junk that you find around the yard into rich top soil that also doubles as mulch. That's a double whammy of plant-food-making, trash-reducing action. The Compost Wizard Jr. is heralded as the number one composter in America. At 7 cubic feet, it can sit discretely out of the way yet it's big enough to handle your typical load of organic junk. It comes in two pieces that are fully assembled! There's no waiting to start composting, you can begin the second the composter arrives.

Thinking of using one of those crank composters? Why bother when the handles on the Compost Wizard Jr. provide excellent grip for turning and won't break apart. If you look inside the bin, you'll find that those nifty hand holds also double as agitators for the compost. It turns easily because of the ingenious wheeled base the compost bin sits on. It's simple and it works! If you want to roll the bin around the yard, it can be taken right off the base. Now you can roll compost from your prime composting spot all the way to your garden.

Another great advantage to this composting unit is the 12" twist off lid. This lid keeps your compost safely closed off. Don't worry about rodents getting in. The lid keeps out animals large and small. Just be sure not to throw any meat or high protein foods in there or you'll get flies (also good for compost, but smelly and obnoxious).

How are the bugs getting in? Each end of the compost bin has plenty of aeration holes which provide much needed airflow for the compost batch. You can even drill more if you live in areas that don't get as much moving air or get really hot. So what is this miraculous product made out of? The compost bin is made with 100% recycled polyethylene. This isn't your typical plastic either; Our PE is BP-a free and FDA approved for contact with edibles. That means there are no chemicals, toxic or otherwise, leeching into your compost.

The Compost Wizard Jr. is made in black, the most efficient color at absorbing the sun's heat, keeping your compost at a nice hot temperature of 100-150 degrees F (38-66 C). Here's the best part: The only thing you have to do is rotate the drum once a week. That's it. If your batch of materials is balanced properly and conditions are perfect, you can see compost as quickly as 21 days. That's only three weeks! Think of all that extra gardening you can get done without having to wait. If you want to help keep organic waste out of our landfills and turn your plant and kitchen scraps into nutritious soil, get America's compost bin of choice: The Compost Wizard Jr. compost tumbler. For best results, wait for a single batch to completely compost before adding more material. 21 day projection is based on ideal conditions.

Best composter we have had

This composter works. The heat breaks down the food material. You do not to need to toss it or turn it. It takes minimal space yet holds a lot.
We have a nicely manicured back yard yet the composter is quite discreet looking. Need to get another one for when the first one is full and still composting.
My friend and neighbor has one and I got to use it and see it at work. Absolutely love this composter!

Thank you for the nice review! We appreciate your taking the time to give your feedback.
Compost on!

Compost Wizard Jr

Our new favorite addition to our garden. This composter holds way more than we originally guessed, but after filling up the first one, we bought another to allow the first one to "stew". As a small person, my only complaint is that I am unable to reach the handles provided to rotate it (they are not necessary to rotate it anyway), but even if I could reach them, it seems the indentations to accommodate your fingers are facing the wrong way. Don't let that stop you from getting this composter!

Thank you, Jill! We are happy to hear that you are enjoying your new composter and appreciate your taking the time go give us your feed back!
