This beautiful Rain Chain Basin is handmade out of 20-gauge pure copper, finished in a hand-rubbed blue verde finish. The basin is hand hammered, providing a beautiful textured look. The large blue verde brass connector inside the basin easily connects the rain chain in place. This rain chain basin is designed to prevent your rain chain from blowing in the wind and helps to securely anchor the rain chain to the ground. We recommend filling the basin with decorative stones to hold it in place.
our big old house is nothing but columns front and back so when we had gutters put in place, I refused any downspouts on columns. our gutters overflow and dump water whenever it rains. we just don't have enough downspouts! rain chains are a lovely alternative to an ugly downspout. we put one up already and it helped immeasurably. we're putting the second one up in the back and I'm going to order a third one shortly.
Kyle in customer service was a great help. he answers every question, either by email or phone.
all in all, this is my new favorite company. the website is very informative and they have a wide variety of wonderful stuff for your yard.
