The Biovessel Living Composter is an easy-to-use home composter that breaks down raw food scraps and turns them into nutrients that feed new life. With the help of earthworms, microorganisms, and water the Biovessel ecosystem redefines waste, which is otherwise disposed of in bins.
The process of breaking down the organic waste is purely powered by nature and creates a self-sustainable ecosystem that achieves odorless, high efficiency decomposition.
Depending on the type of food waste, the Biovessel ecosystem can break down up to 1.1 lbs. – 2.2 lbs. per week.
Essential Elements to build the Biovessel ecosystem:
A mix of approximately 1.6 - 1.8 gallons of humus and sawdust soil, containing 1000 - 1200 (1.1 lbs. – 1.3 lbs.) of composting worms are required to activate Biovessel (worms not included). The top of the Biovessel is made of cork, which is a breathable and sustainable organic material.
This Living Composter brings nature into urban homes for a sustainable lifestyle.
