More Product Information:

The Acorn Cups Rain Chain will complement any home design! This functional rain chain is made of pure copper. The top of each cup is hand tooled to resemble an acorn. Simple assembly with just a pair of pliers is required. Each rain chain comes with a matching v-hook. The v-hook sits inside the gutter opening to hold the rain chain in place.

Installation Tip:

The connecting wires have threaded end nuts. We recommend dabbing a small amount of Loctite® Blue adhesive on each end nut to prevent them from unfastening. Available at any hardware or home improvement store. Click Here for cup assembly instructions.

Our rain chains look and work great

Our acorn rain chains really make our new home look great. We built our home in a historic district and were required to build it to look like it was built during the same period as existing homes in our area. These rain chains really helped to make our home look much better than traditional downspouts. Just about everyone who passes by comments on how nice they look.

Also, we got all four of our chains installed just in time for a large downpour. Not only do they look great, but they also work wonderfully. The support staff was wonderful as well. We found a few imperfections when our order was delivered, but they were quickly replaced at no cost to us.

We definitely recommend NutshellStores if you want a unique look to your home.

Beautiful & Practical Downspout Alternative

Our rain chain is now installed and we're enjoying watching today's heavy rain moving down to the pot full of rocks on the ground. We'd suggest you get the installation kit and use waterproof caulk to secure it inside the gutter. We also got the anchor stake, but find that strong wind does loosen it from the rocks. This rain chain must be secured to the ground somehow, so be sure to get a long enough chain. This is a beautiful and practical alternative to a downspout.- very pleased we ordered it.
