A central compost basket is used to conveniently place your daily kitchen scraps. It sits at the top of the Cascading Garden and extends all the way to the lower tier. This household waste is then organically transformed into nutrient rich soil that nourishes the vegetables in all three tiers of the garden bed. Compost fed soil better holds moisture and nutrients, while using up to 70% less water.
