We're very excited to be working with this amazing company, Subpod®. They're striving to make composting part of everyday life with easy to use, attractive composters. We’d like to support them in this mission. We’d love to help more people reduce food waste, create healthier soil, and more sustainable lifestyles. We think Subpod® composters will do just that.
Create nutrient rich compost in your garden with Subpod®! The compost worms and beneficial microbes that live alongside them are the key ingredients! They take your food scraps and other carbon items (like paper, leaves, and coconut peat) and turn it all into rich compost that builds soil and helps plants thrive.
Subpod® is designed to be embedded in the ground. This creates a natural environment for compost worms. Having access to the soil around the composter is great because they can feed and breed as rapidly as they like. There will always be room for their population to grow!
Soil is a natural insulator! When the weather is hot, your compost worms will instinctively escape into soil to cool down. During the winter months, the soil will keep your worms warm, happy, and active (as long as the soil doesn’t freeze). As an added bonus, every time your worms leave Subpod®, their movement aerates the garden soil and increases its nutrient content!
Subpod® is an aerobic system. This means it promotes odorless microbes to boost the composting process, not smelly anaerobic ones. Fresh air will continually cycle through your system with the unique 360 ventilation below Subpods’ lid. With weekly aeration, your compost will only ever smell like a forest floor!
Put your food waste in Subpod and aerate your compost to speed up the process.
Worms and microbes go to work, breaking down your food waste into worm castings (compost).
Ventilation and aeration keep your system smell-free while the composting process happens.
Harvest your compost and use it as fresh organic fertiliser for your plants!
The Subpod® in-ground composting system makes this simple for every household!
